Omar was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He studied International Business at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. While studying abroad in Lima, Peru, he was able to be a part of the celebration rally for a presidential victory. The non-profit “One Roof for My Country” also gave him the opportunity to build a house with a team of dedicated volunteers for a family in the outskirts of the city. Most of the families there had moved to the country’s capital from rural areas in search of better economic opportunity. The experience there initiated an interest for legislation to make concrete and positive change in society. He believes that travel (from point A to point B) is to be enjoyed and invites the road. Urban development interests him and he is sure we can do better! He is stoked about the team making an impact on the oil industry this summer.
