Lisa Purdy, from Waltham, MA, at your service. She’s a rising junior at Brandeis University, majoring in Environmental Studies and French. Basically, she loves trees and the [French countryside] breeze. Around campus, her role in environmental activism, in its many big and small forms, grows and grows as she learns more about the movement, the science, and the reality of what a loss of connection to the earth means. She finds it empowering that small actions, when hewn into a cohesive movement, have changed the world. And can change it again! Just a regular old optimist comin’ your way.
Lisa’s journey is being supported by a very generous donation by her mother, Ann Schubert.
