Blair is a native of the verdant Pacific Northwest. Having grown up near the foothills of the Cascade mountain range and on the waters of the Puget Sound in the Emerald City of Seattle, her childhood was filled with experiences of finding joy in nature’s beauty: camping, hiking, biking, boating, swimming, and so much more. Her ideological foundations have been very much shaped by these experiences, and these roots were sealed with her university studies in Environmental Planning and Policy with a minor focus on Sustainable Design. For the last year and a half Blair has worked with a non-profit social action agency focusing on energy conservation and home weatherization. Her sincere interest in social and environmental justice continue to drive her choices and actions in her daily life, and the opportunity to Ride for the Future is a fantastically unique way to live out her values. Some of her favorite activities include dancing like a smooth maniac, creating found art and costumes, and learning anything she can from those around her.
